Open Country – The Lighthouse at the Headland of the Great Seas

Ardnamurchan Lighthouse, on the westernmost tip of the UK mainland – on a clear day spectacular views towards Skye and the Outer Hebrides but on a dark stormy night a desolate forbidding place. A community trust has taken over the Lighthouse’s visitor facilities to develop its tourist potential. Helen Mark finds out more about their plans.
