As more and more Scottish churches close their doors, many once prized pipe organs are no longer wanted. Organ restorer, Michael MacDonald, tells Kathleen Carragher about his efforts to rescue some of these centuries old instruments. Michael talks about his profession at St Adamnan’s Church in Duror, near Oban, while he retunes what is believed to be the oldest working pipe organ in the country.
